Feeling lost is quite often more than just a state of mind, all sort of outside ENTANGLEMENTS can cause unpleasant experiences resulting in feeling powerless to tackle something mentally.

Entanglements require solution, meaning beyond the mental choice to change, some action is required as you got yourself into an entanglement, now finding the need to work one's way out, TOWARDS the desired outcome of solution.
When your focus of attention is placed on reaching for a preferred outcome, than your state of mind is far less cluttered with the entanglement.

The trick is not to get more entangled by focusing on the very thing that entangles you. "One"
