You pulled me out from under life's harrowing waves
You saved me from the liars; the resentful knaves

You discovered the thoughts hidden deep within my mind
They're thoughts that no one else will ever come to find

The difference you've made in my life will forever show
and hopefully our friendship will continue to grow

I hope you know that I've tried to do the same
I know my pain has hurt you, and I take all of the blame
